The only thing that was hard was how heavy it was to move the mirror alone inside my house in the box. It took a few days to get here after being shipped, so in all maybe took around two weeks even after a holiday weekend. It took about 7 business days to be shipped out, their customer service was timely and fantastic as I asked when it would be shipped after reading the reviews. I probably wouldn’t pay full price but maybe that’s just me. I love this mirror so much, it’s so beautiful and is totally worth the money paid for it. The mirror comes with a sturdy plug and outlets in the side for hair tools like a hair dryer or curling iron. It came with foam padding taped around the entire mirror with lightbulbs plus one extra and hardware to hang the mirror. There is a small crack from one side of the switch to the other side. It was packaged beautifully, but did come with one small hairline like crack on the side where the light dimming switch is. I paid something like $450 for the mirror. I bought a tall mirror with lights on sale between 30-40% off. Honestly, they scared me, as I read them all after ordering from Impressions Vanity. I cannot believe the number of bad reviews on here. I just had to come here and review this company. There is no way I would ever rebuild and or pay someone to rebuild that entire unit again. You’re basically telling customers if any part of a vanity that is sold as a “bundle” is damaged they have to repurchase and rebuild an entire unit vs purchasing the damaged piece and rebuilding it. The top of the vanity and the vanity drawers are sold as a “bundle” not a “unit”, so why would i not be able to purchase it separate. You have to put every single drawer together. Why? The vanity literally comes in a million pieces. They said no, that I would have to purchase the entire vanity. When i finally was able to correspond with someone, I asked if I could simply purchase the top half that was damaged and not the whole entire vanity. They only responded after I complained on social media. I sent them a message through their ticket portal trying to place the order and no one responded for a week. First they told the claims adjuster from the moving company that I could repurchase it for the original price. Between myself and the moving companies claim adjuster they keep telling us different things in regards to replacing the unit. In my move the moving company damaged the top half of my vanity.

However, it has been worded in a way that relates only to televised content, stating: Now legislation, called the “ Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act“, has been in place around closed captions since January of 2012. Filed in February of 2015, the lawsuit was for the violation of anti-discrimination laws. The lawsuit is directed toward the libraries of online content, from lectures to courses, that did not offer closed captions. A famous example is the federal lawsuit filed by the advocates for the deaf against M.I.T. In this scenario, captions are a way to connect better with an audience that is electing to watch video without any audio.ĭepending on your use case, though, there might also be legal motivations as well. There is also just the nature of online viewing, which, as previously discussed, sees a lot of video content watched while muted. In fact, 15% of American adults, a population size of 37.5 million, report some trouble hearing. The audience size for this is projected to be pretty sizable as well. It allows content owners to reach viewers that might be hard of hearing or deaf, for example, but also just those who might struggle hearing the content and would choose to watch something with captions over something without. In terms of which is better, the closed captions provide a much nicer experience since the viewer is given the choice of how they want to watch their content.Ĭlosed captioning increases the video’s potential audience. The name implies that they can be hidden or closed from view. This means they can be turned off, either through the click of a button or another method that allows for them to be disabled. Meaning they are always on, or, as the name implies, always open.Ĭlosed captions are selectable. While they don’t necessarily have to be part of the video track, open captions are not selectable. With open captions, the text is always on, often referred to as being “burned” into the video track. The difference between open and closed captions are in the end user experience. What’s the difference between open and closed captions? As a result, video becomes more visually important, and closed captions can be a great way to bridge that gap in allowing viewers to understand the content solely through its visuals. In fact, 85% of video content on Facebook is watched with the sound off. Reasons for this can range from preference to just catering to non-native speakers whose understanding of the events unfolding before them will be enhanced thanks to them.įurthermore, as more video is viewed online, more content is watched muted. In fact, as long as a decade ago, a study in the UK found that 80% of those that use closed captioning are not hard of hearing or deaf. However, it should not be assumed that they are only used for those with hearing issues. Captions are often associated with helping those who might be deaf or hard of hearing so that they can consume video content. So for example placing dialogue or actions in text so it can be read. Often abbreviated as CC, closed captioning is the process of including text with video with the intention of providing interpretive information. What’s the difference between open and closed captions?.For a demonstration of some of those techniques, and to learn overall where the industry is headed, also be sure to check out our Video Trends in 2018 webinar. It also concludes with some resources to help you start captioning your video content as well. It also includes some best practices, to ensure that content owners are creating what could be considered quality closed captions, both from an accessibility standpoint and to protect organizations as regulations tighten. This article describes closed captions and relates why they are important, with an emphasis on the legal side of the equation. Wondering what is closed captioning? Curious on why you should be captioning your content, or what regulations might exist that could impact your industry? Int array2 // another array of int elementsĭeclaring an array doesn’t actually create the array. The following two statements both create arrays of int elements: This capability will greatly expand what our programs can do. You can also put the brackets on the variable name rather than the type. ArrayList class can store a group of many objects. Here, a variable named names is declared. This variable declaration should indicate the type of elements stored by the array, followed by a set of empty brackets, like this: Index numbers start with 0 (zero) for the first element, so x refers to the first element.īefore you can create an array, you must declare a variable that refers to the array. So if the variable name is x, you could access a specific element with an expression like x. Written after the variable name, the index number is enclosed in brackets. An int array can contain int values, for example, and a String array can contain strings. I did not compile and test this, but this is the. To implement something like this, you would have to create a circular, doubly linked list. Thus, in the example above with an array. If you have an index idx and don't know if it will be positive or negative, you can do the following : array (array.length+idx)array.length oneElement LucG. Thus, the array itself has a type that specifies what kind of elements it can contain. The indexes of elements in a Java array always start with 0 and continue to the number 1 below the size of the array. And by looking at your code, the reason becomes pretty evident. The description Array index out of range: 0 means youre trying to get an object at slot 0, when there is no such slot available at the time. If you want to add without replacement, use ArrayList. Also, since you're using an array, while adding, you'll replace it. int position 3 // array index start from 0. All the elements in an array must be of the same type. capacity is not part of the collections api, its specific to Vector. Array indexing start from 0, So to insert in 4th place you have to do array 3 value. An array is a set of variables referenced by using a single variable name combined with an index number. Of course you can bring your own implementation and disable mine. My approach is simpler: Use Helm to provision (if you disable autoscaling) or pre-provision (with autoscaling enabled) all JVB's services and ingresses (for media traffic and colibri websockets). I think their architecture is awesome but they're lack of documentation on metacontroller's part so a lot of people stuck with that part. Their approach is relying on metacontroller to provision a Service per JVB's pod and expose that service with NodePort. The original deployment uses kustomize to deploy all components and requires some manual copy-paste stuffs which I don't really like. This chart is tested with Google GKE and DigitalOcean DOKS cluster version 1.20, 1.21. A more detailed explanation of the system architecture with multiple shards can be found in original architecture. I only made some modifications to fit more general cases. So in order to make jvb work, you need to open 30000-300xx port on worker nodes with UDP protocol Architecture You can predict those ports like this: with shard-0.jvbBasePort = 30000, shard-0-jvb-0 will expose 30000, shard-0-jvb-1 will expose 30001. JVB NodePort is calculated based on shard-.jvbBasePort and pod index in statefulset. Opened firewall rules for JVB's port ranges (for ex: 30000-30xxx + UDP).A Kubernetes cluster (>= 1.17 - dont know if it work before this version) with public-accessible nodes for JVB.This chart bootstraps a scalable jitsi-meet deployment with multiple shards, multiple JVB on Kubernetes. There’s a number of lifts which serve all the floors very quickly. Having had a rather painful journey to get there it was a delight to have my reservation swapped to a suite, which if available when booking I’d highly recommend. Despite this it’s still a good location for seeing a lot of the main sights in the city and while awfully busy in the area outside, inside is calm and tranquil! Checking in was quick and pleasant with a very friendly member of staff happy to engage in conversation. If you’re arriving by train then the location couldn’t be better - immediately opposite the station. But I would definitely consider other options before returning. The city was basically sold out during our trip, except for some low quality motels, so we were glad to have what we had. Also, we drove into the city, so to have it on the edge of the city-center was convenient as to not deal with the ZTL. Location was good, across the street from the train station and within walking distance of the main sights. This from a hotel charging 700 EUR/night. Front desk staff was also quite rude to my wife when she was trying to track down something she lost - the housekeeper on our floor was much more pleasant and helpful. Turns out I could just book it online myself within a few minutes, but apparently this was too much effort for them to follow through. They were able to confirm one (not their suggestion) but quickly gave up on the other they suggested because "no one answered the phone". We reached out in advance for some restaurant recommendations and asked for assistance in making a couple of reservations. The staff were generally pleasant, though often seemed overwhelmed. And the food came out mostly cold since they have to haul it up from the kitchen in the basement. But we stayed in for dinner one night and were very underwhelmed: prices are high for low quality. Breakfast was good and of the quality you would expect at this type of hotel. The joke is on them though - I'm sure there is growing water damage underneath the tile. The bathroom featured a shower/tub combo, but with barely any panel to keep the shower from splashing out - plus, the shower head was prone to twist away from the wall and out towards the floor so you inevitably have a pool of water on the floor every time you shower. The "Deluxe Room" was very spacious and clean, but in need of a renovation (and some reconfiguring). The hotel is just OK, but they try to charge like a Four Seasons. R-Studio's usability is a mix of hits and misses. Even if your SD card is raw or corrupted, R-Studio should be able to handle it without any issues. The data recovery software makes up for its weaknesses with its impressive damaged file system recovery performance. R-Studio for Windows has above-average recovery performance, but there are certain areas where it falls short, such as raw file recovery and the ability to restore the original folder structure and file names from FAT32 and exFAT partitions. Fortunately, most SD cards use the FAT32 file system, which is included in the R-Studio FAT plan. Prices start at just $49.99, but the cheapest plans can recover only a few file systems. To actually get something done with R-Studio, you will most likely need to purchase a paid plan. These days, high-quality images are at least several MB large, so it's clear that the free version is just a tease. Those who want to recover their lost data without paying won't be happy to find out that the free version of R-Studio can recover files only if they are smaller than 256 KB. You can also filter scan results to quickly find what you're looking for or use the search feature to locate a specific file on your SD card. Many file formats can be previewed directly inside Disk Drill to verify their content and recoverability. Recovering lost or deleted files from an SD card with Disk Drill is so easy that anyone can do it-no expert skills required! From start to finish, the entire process takes just five simple steps, and the actual recovery is a matter of a simple click. Of course, Disk Drill can help you recover deleted photos as well as all other files stored on your SD card, and it works with traditional hard drives, modern SSDs, USB flash drives, and all other storage devices. Especially praiseworthy is its ability to recover raw images and videos that many lesser data recovery solutions can't even recognize. With an average score of 99%, its video recovery is nearly as great. Especially worth mentioning is the byte-to-byte backup tool, which comes in handy when recovering data from unreliable SD cards that may stop working at any moment.ĭisk Drill is the only data recovery software we've ever tested that managed to achieve a recovery score of 100% across all photo recovery test scenarios. The value of Disk Drill is further increased by the extra tools that come with the data recovery software. The free version can recover up to 500 MB of data, and unlimited recovery capabilities are just one lifetime license away. If you need to recover only a handful of deleted SD card files, then the value provided by Disk Drill is hard to beat. Obviously, your freelancers, agencies, consultants and independent contractors need to get paid for the work that they complete. The freelancer themselves usually takes charge of the way in which they invoice your company, which means they are very much in the driver’s seat.Īs they aren’t employees – this gets handled outside of the usual monthly payroll. Each will have their own disparate ways of working, and while some will whip up an invoice in Microsoft Word, save it as a PDF and send it as an attachment via email – others might have an account with third-party invoicing software, or use cloud collaboration tools to send you a direct link. The invoices will all look different, and have varied styles and formatting. This might not seem like a big deal when you’re working with one or two contractors, but if each department has half a dozen freelance workers, and twenty departments send those invoices to HR at the end of the month, the payroll manager is going to have a lot of work on their hands to sort through the paperwork and manually input the data. In addition, they might not even arrive at the same point in the calendar month, as some freelancers will invoice for individual tasks once work is complete, while others might send a single invoice at the end of each month. Tax invoices for sales of $1000 (including GST) or more also need to show the buyer’s identity or ABN.Finding the gaps in your own business record-keepingĪs all freelancers are ultimately their own business, no two invoices are going to be the same. clearly state that the total price includes GST.You’ll meet this requirement if you either: the extent to which each item sold includes GST.You should display the GST amount for each item separately, or, if the GST amount is exactly one-eleventh of the total price, you can use a statement such as ‘Total price includes GST’ a brief list of the items sold, including quantity and price.your identity as the seller, such as your business name or trading name (contact details are optional, but recommended).the words ‘Tax invoice’ – preferably at the top.Depending on the total price of the tax invoice and how you sell your products or services, there may be more requirements.įor sales of less than $1,000 (including GST), your tax invoices must include: You can do this by including the statement ‘No GST has been charged’ or by showing the GST amount as zero.Ī tax invoice must include the following 7 pieces of information to be valid. If your customer requests a tax invoice and you’re not registered for GST, provide a regular invoice showing there is no GST included in the price. These are called recipient-created tax invoices (RCTIs). In special cases, the buyer can provide you with the tax invoice. When you make a taxable sale of more than $82.50 (including GST), your GST-registered customers need a tax invoice to claim a credit for the GST in the purchase price.

The Saints have their quarterback issues solved at least temporarily by re-signing Winston. In comment 16233408 monstercoo said: Quote: Next year’s draft projects to be significantly better at the quarterback position than what the 2022 crop can ever hope to provide. Should he get hurt again or struggle, then New Orleans knows it is time to appropriately replace Drew Brees by looking for a franchise quarterback in the 2023 NFL Draft. If Winston plays well in 2022, the Saints could look at extending him beyond 2023. It also gives the franchise a quarterback in the short and medium future, without mortgaging its future anything beyond that. The Saints would not bring him back on a two-year deal like this if they did not trust him. More importantly, what this signing does is give Winston some runway to be a starter again, as well as show he can be the dynamic leader he once was at Florida State. Winston knows the offense well and should make things easier for Pete Carmichael Jr.’s expanded role as a play-caller, as well as Dennis Allen’s accession to the Saints’ next head coach.
